Portland presents a unique opportunity to further the Shiviti mission of changing the world through education. The local Sephardic community, Congregation Beit Yosef – founded by a dear friend and sponsoring rabbi of the Shiviti Bet Din, Rabbi Shlomo Truzman – resonates deeply with the Shiviti message. We are proud to partner with Beit Yosef leadership in establishing the Shiviti Bet Midrash of Portland with the mission of offering wholesome adult education opportunities to their membership and the broader Jewish community of the Pacific Northwest.
